Today, the staff at St. John's were left speechless and exhilarated after receiving a generous donation of five desk top computers along with all the accessories, courtesy of Investec Bank Limited in Sandton, South Africa.
The computers were a long awaited answer to pray for all of the staff and children. With over forty staff members sharing two computers for all of their work related demands, getting their reports done on time was often a stressful matter. However, thanks to Investec's generosity this is no longer the case!
Program Manager, Patrica Marite expressed that the outreach center will now be able to have the opportunity to teach the children how to use a computer and develop in their personal computer skills. It is her hope that the computers will be a great educational benefit for them; transforming their lives educationally as well as providing them with a greater opportunity for future employment.
